The Sig Sauer 232 is my daily concealed carry pistol and there are several reasons I choose to carry it. Accuracy, Reliability, and Concealabilty are three of the most important things to consider when choosing a carry pistol and the 232 has all three.

The Sig 232 features a fixed barrel blowback action which adds to the accuracy and reliability of the pistol but also to the recoil. The felt recoil from this pistol is about the same as a similar size 9mm.

Accuracy out to 25 yards is good as this pistol has actual sights. I've shoot several different types of ammo through this pistol and have never had a failure of any type.

The pistol is double/single action with a 10lbs double action pull and a 4.5lbs single action.

There is no safety on this pistol but it does have a de-cocking lever for the hammer. The magazine release is European and on the bottom of the grip. Not great for tactical reloads but work well once you get used to it.

One of my favorite features is the full size grip. When you are holding the pistol you can actually get your whole hand around it giving you more confidence when you shoot.

SigLite Night Sights are an available option.
