in short, the gun feels wonderful in my hand. very little recoil, looks good, very user friendly, no useless features, and the price was right. |

I'll start with recoil, this pistol in .40 cal has less recoil than some 9mm that i have shot. the balance is great and it was pretty well sighted out the box. breakdown is not as easy as the glock, but it's only 2 more steps that are there as safety measures. (no trigger pull to break down. cleaning was a breeze. groupings were just slightly better than they were with Glock 22, I think mostly because the m&p is so much more comfortable in my hands. |

I have pretty large hands and the 3 replaceable backstraps were a welcome treat. mag release in changeable in about 30 seconds. internal lockout was really sweet, you can switch a little lever inside the gun and it's inoperable. also you can opt for the ambi thumb safety. |
