Great little package. Mine is a post recall model and I have not had a single issue with this pocket blaster. Owned it since May 2009. In roughly 250 rounds shooting, no less than 6 brands of ammo both Hollow point and FMJ without a single issue. Well worth the money and certainly a discreet carry choice for men & women. |

It's certainly a surprise when you first shoot it. This sub compact packs a hefty snap. I wouldn't call it recoil. Due to the light weight and small surface area it transmits a snap to the hand and fingers. Recoil is felt more in the whole arm. Accuracy for a sub 3" barrel is quite good within 15 to 20 feet after a few practice sessions.
If you want to reduce the snap quite substantially, buy the Hogue grip wrap. You slip it over the whole grip and work it slowly up till it reaches the trigger guard. I worked mine up till was all the way past the magazine well bottom; then trimmed with razor at the trigger guard and magazine release. I'll update this post with a new photo with the grip so you can see it installed. |

The magazine extension is a great help. I can wrap two fingers comfortably with the little finger supporting under the magazine. My extender is the Ruger version. Pierce makes one that is about a 3/16" or so larger. Mine came with one mag with extension and one without, in addition there was a padded Ruger pistol rug. All of this came in a plastic case.
Paid $325 for this package. |
