Finish: wasn't listed in drop down, but mine is a black slide and stainless frame with the word "Match" in beautiful scroll on left side of slide, Really a beauty!! I like the grip's curve at the bottom. I have 5 1911's but the Match's grip feels better to me, I have largish hands and thick fingers, and it fits perfect. I took my best bud w/me to pick it up and he bought an exact copy on the spot! We both luv 'em but read on... these things have a trick to them. |

The trick I'm referring to is the triggger travel stop screw. The same thing happened to mine and my buddy's on the day of purchase. I adjusted the travel screws to stop EXACTLY at sear break, before we fired them.when we let 'em rip, on the first shot both of the guns doubled off!!, (wipe butt, change Hanes) Deal is I had to let the trigs out about 3/4 turn each. the settting was that sensitive. I take it as a sign of a very "tightly built" pistol.they ran great, 1-1/2" grps at 20 yrds. Satisfied. |

The safety paddle is wider than a 1911, and Ilike them that way for my big fingers, my buddy's thin fingers like his wide safety, so to each his own. The wide safety in no way impedes on the access to the slide release, they "fit" each other. The gun is tight, the trigger weight is adjustable right below the feed ramp, but I left mine set at3-3/4 lbs. as set from factory, it feels good to me. I think for the money , a Tanfoglio is like gettting a 'Vette for the price of a Malibu!! shoot safely...Dave |
