Very good compact CCW and accurate for a short barrel .45 cal. It shoots very well and feels excellent in my hand...no problems with magazine drop.

Well in all honesty I have to say I took this weapon to the range with a prayer and crossed fingers. After all the bad reviews that I have read, I was hoping please not me. But my range sessions were awesome. I put 250 rounds through the weapon without one problem. All shots were in the 10,9 and 8 rings from the 20 yard distance (the 7 yard distance was crazy accurate) . But if you are recoil sensitive stay away from the +P and JHP ammo. I did not have any problems at all but when you pull the trigger on those rounds you know it is not a ball round. I love this gun! It's right up there with my Citadel compact. Yeah, I am on a budget and I try to get the biggest bang for my buck, given not sacrificing performance and quality. The PT145 is a solid gun for CCW or back up.

Being a vet from the Vietnam era I love the 10 mag capacity. The more the merrier! The safety is a plus because I am use to the 1911's cocked and locked condition 1 carry. So the manual safety is ideal for me.
