This is the best wheel gun I own and my favorite to shoot. Why? It shoots straight (it makes me a far better shooter), is manageable with recoil and with target wood grips, it looks like a man's gun. I don't care what anyone says, in revolvers there is Smith and Wesson, and then there is everyone else (Sorry Colt). |

1) Accuracy is incredible. Standard fare is factory reload 158 grain semiwadcutters.
2) Easy to maintain. C'mon - it's a revolver. If I wanted to build a rocket, I would have bought a rocket.
3) Recoil is comfortable.
4) "Misfires, did you say misfires?" I don't think so (it is a revolver).
5) A Smith and Wesson trigger. One of the true engineering marvels. |

The target grips on the 15-3 are perfect. They fit my hand like what my idea of a revolver is. Weight is well distributed and the gun is a natural pointer. The Smith trigger is smooth and steady in double action and nice and light in single action.
I didn't know when I picked this up for a shooter, that I was picking up a classic. |
