I bought the S&W PPK/S, because I've always been attracted to PPKs (they are absolutely beautiful in stainless), trust S&W, and wanted a pocket pistol with a safety--even though I HATE slide safeties. I settled for .380 ACP, when I really try to stick with .45 ACP... |

Heavy but ultra-smooth trigger, reliable (no malfunctions over a couple hundred rounds), and very accurate, but I can't say I like the sight that much (too small). I also appreciate the enhanced beavertail--much more comfortable than a friend's I shot twenty years ago that chewed up my hand. I did have to send it back for the safety recall, and it took two months to get it back, but I got everything back fine. All in all, it's the fine gun I hoped to get. |

- Silky-smooth double-action trigger
- Beautiful design and stainless finish
- James Bond used one (though he preferred a Beretta)! |
